Sweden stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.27%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare , Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.27%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ), which rose 7.94% or 18.00 points to trade at 244.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ) added 0.95% or 2.00 points to end at 212.30 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST: SHBa ) was up 0.81% or 1.05 points to 130.05 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Sinch AB (ST: SINCH ), which fell 8.21% or 2.38 points to trade at 26.60 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ) declined 6.86% or 3.30 points to end at 44.70 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST: AZN ) was down 2.31% or 37.50 points to 1,583.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 395 to 372 and 73 ended unchanged.

Shares in Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST: SHBa ) rose to 5-year highs; rising 0.81% or 1.05 to 130.05.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.60% or 0.43 to $70.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.27% or 0.20 to hit $74.82 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.21% or 35.54 to trade at $2,909.86 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.03% to 11.23, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 10.70.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 106.64.
