Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.83%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.83% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC: NCH ), which rose 8.98% or 8,980.00 points to trade at 109,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECO ) added 5.28% or 105.00 points to end at 2,095.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC: CFV ) was up 1.63% or 280.00 points to 17,500.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ISA ), which fell 1.88% or 340.00 points to trade at 17,720.00 at the close. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC: TPL ) declined 1.64% or 200.00 points to end at 12,000.00 and Grupo Argos SA (BVC: ARG ) was down 1.30% or 260.00 points to 19,700.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.

US coffee C for March delivery was down 4.34% or 19.05 to $419.85 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.57% or 165.00 to hit $10,373.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.70% or 50.20 to trade at $2,895.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.52% to 4,117.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.61% to 722.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 106.65.
