Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.98%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate , Banking and Biomed sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.98%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ), which rose 2.16% or 670.00 points to trade at 31,710.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE: ENRG ) added 1.70% or 20.00 points to end at 1,194.00 and Nova (TASE: NVMI ) was up 1.26% or 1,140.00 points to 91,840.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: TSEM ), which fell 5.32% or 930.00 points to trade at 16,540.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE: SKBN ) declined 3.57% or 45.00 points to end at 1,215.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE: AMOT ) was down 3.43% or 74.00 points to 2,082.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 277 to 180 and 80 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.01% or 0.73 to $73.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.09% or 0.83 to hit $76.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 1.29 to trade at $2,933.11 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.39% to 3.59, while EUR/ILS rose 0.72% to 3.71.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 107.99.
